Many people think that fax marketing is out-of-date or useless these days due to the Internet and mobile phones drawing everyone in. Truth be told, fax marketing is not as effective as these two types of methods, however, it can be a good addition to your marketing campaigns. When you have their permission, you can then proceed to fax them updates on sales, promotions, upgrades, coupons, product announcements, newsletters or anything else that will keep them abreast to the goings on of your company.

Do not fax them too often as this will also annoy them and they will end up opting out of your fax list. It is wise to only fax them once a month and no more than twice. Also, include a clear and easy way for them to opt out of your fax messages.

Fax marketing is a great way to upgrade current customers and get new sales with your current customer base. Again, new customer marketing should be left for Internet marketing strategies and offline advertising, however, fax messaging can do wonders with the list you already have.
